In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Nicholas Jones, age 32 of Centre, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of SORNA violation.

Nicholas Downey, age 24 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 3rd degree domestic violence 3rd degree assault and a grand jury indictment possession of a controlled substance.

Edward Sexton, age 32 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Lori Pizano, age 37 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Reynolds, age 54 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bridgett Brooks, age 39 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 100 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
