CENTRE – The Cherokee County Lady Warriors swept Cedar Bluff and Spring Garden in volleyball action on Monday evening. The Lady Warriors (36-8) defeated Cedar Bluff 25-15, 25-15, then beat Spring Garden 25-12, 25-14.
In the win over Cedar Bluff, Macy Lea managed 17 assists, an ace, a kill, and five digs. Raegan Garmany delivered three kills and a block. Mattie Green contributed two kills and a block. Ava Haygood posted five kills and seven digs.
Jolie Alexander came away with four kills and a dig. Ellisan Givens tallied nine digs and an assist. Nevaeh Gaidurgis accumulated five kills, four digs, and an ace. Jesslyn Hincy finished with seven digs and an assist.
In the win over Spring Garden, Lea delivered 22 assists. Garmany gained two kills, two digs and an assist.
Green had a pair of kills. Haygood collected six kills, five digs, and a pair of aces.
Alexander added a kill, a dig and two aces. Givens posted eight digs, three aces, and an assist. Gaidurgis put away 13 kills, and Hincy finished with four digs, a kill, and an ace.
Cherokee County hosts White Plains beginning at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
