Cherokee County Arrest Files for Tuesday, October 7

In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Ronald Atkins, age 45 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on two previous charges.

James Decker, age 52 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on a charge of public intoxication.

Kobie Bray, age 23 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 2nd degree escape, interference with a domestic emergency call, youthful offender, and 3rd degree domestic violence.

Nathan Hamilton, age 44 of Fort Payne, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Jody Hicks, age 36 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence.

Trinity Brown, age 21 of Leesburg, was arrested by an unnamed agency on unnamed charges.

James Busbin, age 35 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on a charge of attempting to elude.

James Rochester, age 44 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 92 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
