Cherokee County Coroner’s Office to Host Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Investigation Training

The Cherokee County Coroner’s Office, in partnership with Valor Tech Cleaning, will host a Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Investigation Training on Friday, November 1, 2025, at the Cherokee County Administrative Building, located at 260 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre.

The training will take place in the Multi-Purpose Room and begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided for all attendees.

This important session is open to a wide range of professionals and agencies, including coroners, law enforcement officers, fire and rescue personnel, EMS responders, members of district attorneys’ offices, Department of Human Resources staff, and hospital or medical personnel.

Participants will receive continuing education credit, including 8 hours approved by ACTC. APost approval will need to be confirmed by each agency, and other continuing education units must be approved by the attendee’s respective organization.

The registration deadline is October 30, 2025.
