Early Morning Accident Involving 18-Wheeler in Centre
Centre, Ala. — An early morning accident involving an 18-wheeler occurred Wednesday at the intersection of Northwood Drive and Cedar Bluff Road.
According to reports, a red sedan collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer shortly after 6 a.m. Units from the Centre Police Department, Centre Fire Department, and Atrium Health Floyd EMS responded to the scene.
Dispatch traffic indicated the driver of the sedan requested to be evaluated by medical personnel. However, no serious injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by authorities.
