SAND ROCK — The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats swept a pair of home volleyball matches on Tuesday evening. They defeated area rival Gaston 25-15, 25-11, 25-21, then downed Gaylesville 25-5, 25-15 to improve to 16-13 on the season.

Macey Pruitt delivered 16 kills for the Lady Wildcats. Megan Smith collected 25 digs, six aces, and four kills. Emma Sipsy posted 24 digs and four kills.

Maddie Clanton added 31 assists and four aces. Paitlyn Hughes had 20 digs, four aces, and four kills. Caitlyn Lynch contributed 11 kills and three aces.

Sand Rock.hosts Pleasant Valley on Thursday.
