Mrs. Lillian Rowlls, age 91 of Gaylesville, passed away on September 29, 2025, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 01, 2025 at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Lyerly, GA. Her family will receive friends from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
She is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Buddy) Prater and Tammy (Terry) Richardson; Son, Terry (Cindy) Rowlls; Sisters, Mary Sue (George) Smith and Cathy Hurley; Special friend, Rita Hurley.
A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.
Pallbearers will be Dyllon Dodd, Wesley Dollar, Coleby Prater, Dusty Watwood, Shane Hurley, and Loston Hurley.
Mrs. Rowlls was born in Cherokee County, AL to the late Archie and Ruth Womack. She lived a long, happy and prosperous life. Lillian loved to travel. Hawaii and Alaska were just a couple of her favorite destinations. She was known to keep her travel bag packed in case the opportunity to see the world crossed her path.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Rowlls, and her daughter, Shelia Ray.
