In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Joshua Crumpton, age 40 of Springville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on four previous charges.

Rodney Newton, age 52 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the violation of a domestic violence protection order and 1st degree criminal trespass.

Brooklyn Pressley, age 43 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 94 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
