Sand Rock sweeps volleyball tri-match at Gaylesville

GAYLESVILLE – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats swept a volleyball tri-match at Gaylesville with Faith Christian on Monday evening. They defeated Faith Christian 25-23, 19-25, 15-11, then beat Gaylesville 25-11, 25-15 to improve to 11-10 on the season.

Macey Pruitt delivered 10 kills and four blocks. Megan Smith managed eight kills. Molly Grace Lay posted 27 digs

Emma Sipsy contributed six kills and 14 digs. Maddie Clanton added 26 assists. Paitlyn Hughes had four aces and 12 digs. Caitlyn Lynch finished with five kills.

Sand Rock travels to Cherokee County for a tri-match with Anniston on Tuesday.
