In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Belinda Ellis, age 58 of Valley Head, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and 2nd degree promoting prison contraband.

Thirza Muhlenbruch, age 19 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence.

Anna Malin, age 23 of Boaz, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of driving under the influence, 3rd degree escape, the unlawful possession of a hemp product, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and domestic violence 3rd degree reckless endangerment.

Andrea Smith, age 33 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of three counts of revoked bond and for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 94 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
