Ms. Peggy Carole Jordan, age 72 of Centre, passed away Wednesday September 3rd, 2025.
A memorial service will be held 2 PM Saturday, September 13th, at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Landers officiating.
Survivors include her son, James (Tammy Jo) Brown; sisters, Helen Jordan and Louise Berry; grandchildren, Jesse (Marisa), Joe (Marlee), and Allison; great grandchildren, Easton and Scarlett; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also remain.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christy Brown.
Peggy was born in Austell, Ga. and the daughter of the late Clarence and Carolyn Jordan. She loved spending time with her family, telling stories, and reading. She also enjoyed being outside, watching TV, working crossword puzzles and traveling to the beach. She will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation made towards Cystic Fibrosis research organizations.
