In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Corey Cagle, age 48 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence-any substance, and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Shelby Wenningham, age 42 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of two counts of probation revocation and for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Howard Halliday, age 51 of Dalton, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of three counts of bond revocation.

Katrina Frazier, age 50 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 1st degree obstructing justice false ID.

Mitchell Battles, age 49 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 2nd degree bail jumping.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 93 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
