Cherokee County Deputies Arrest Two After Recovering Vehicle Stolen out of Colorado

Cherokee County-According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, deputies received information that a stolen vehicle was located at 9915 AL Highway 9 North in Cedar Bluff. When deputies arrived, they made contact with two individuals and a Ford Mustang at the scene.

An investigation determined the Mustang had been reported stolen out of Colorado. Deputies arrested Jamie Christopher Rochester, 50, of Cedar Bluff, and Nicholas Joseph Menard, 36, of Cedar Bluff, on charges of Receiving Stolen Property First Degree.

Both individuals were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center, and the stolen vehicle was recovered.
