Centre- The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office has welcomed a new deputy to its ranks. Deputy Corey Cable recently graduated from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Academy and has now begun his field training with the department.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Academy provides comprehensive instruction in law enforcement practices, procedures, and community engagement, equipping graduates with the skills needed to serve and protect effectively.

Deputy Cable’s accomplishment marks the beginning of his career in law enforcement and reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its team and enhancing public safety across Cherokee County.
