Mr. Kenny Maness

Kenny Maness went home to be with Jesus August 26, 2025.

He loved life and lived it to the fullest.  He was always ready to listen and lend a helping hand.  His calling in life took him on a journey of working with the disabled, bringing them a more rewarding and meaningful life.  In return, he received so many blessings he carried with him throughout life.  He found peace and closeness to God and nature casting his reel on the lakes he loved.  First and foremost he loved God and was a prayerful man.

He is survived by his wife, Jane, of 52 years;  loving son, Josh;  grandsons, Ethan and Hayden Maness of Ft Payne and Sawyer Maness of Rainbow City; loving in-laws, Sherry and Johnny Mountain of Boaz, Brenda Charles of Arab, Doris Buchanan of Crossville, Judy and Bob Barger of Arab, Dwight McNew of Fort Payne, and Billy Smith of Yazoo City, MS,  as well as his sister, Martha Maness of Crossville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Kathleen Maness of Crossville; grandparents, R.B. and Beulah Ridgeway; sisters-in-law, Sue Frady, Doris McNew, Liz Smith; and brothers-in-law, Danny Buchanan, Dyane Charles, and Joe Frady.

Revelations 21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for old order of things has passed away.”

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
