RAINBOW CITY – Another night, another sweep for the Cherokee County Lady Warrior volleyball team.
In a tri-match at Westbrook Christian on Tuesday, Cherokee County defeated their hosts 25-12, 25-23. The Lady Warriors went on to beat Donoho 25-15, 25-15 to improve to 13-0 on the season.
In the win over Westbrook, Macy Lea delivered 17 assists, two kills, and two digs. Ava Haygood contributed four kills, three digs, and two aces. Ellisan Givens posted seven digs, three aces, and two assists.
Nevaeh Gaidurgis accumulated eight kills, six digs, and a block. Jesslyn Hincy had four digs, two aces, and a kill. Jolie Alexander and Mattie Green added three and two kills respectively. Raegan Garmany finished with a kill, a block, and an assist.
In the victory over Donoho, Lea managed 19 assists, four digs, two kills, and two aces. Green gained four kills and a dig. Harleigh Henry had three kills and a dig.
Haygood collected four kills, three digs, and an ace. Alexander tallied three kills, two aces, and a dig. Givens posted 11 digs, three assists, and an ace. Gaidurgis came away with seven kills, two digs, an ace, and an assist. Hincy finished with four digs.
