The Asbury at Gaylesville football game has been moved from Friday to Thursday night at Roy Knapp Sr. Field in Gaylesville. Kickoff is 7 p.m. on Thursday.
The Trojans are coming off a season-opening 30-6 win at Donoho. Class 3A Asbury lost to Gaston 34-6.
There is also one other area high school football game being played on Thursday night. The Cedar Bluff Tigers (1-0) pay a visit to Collinsville for the Panthers’ season opener in the first of two Foothills Tractor Games of the Week.
Then on Friday night, Cherokee County looks to bounce back from its loss to Piedmont by hosting Class 5A Arab in this week’s second Foothills Tractor Game of the Week.
Other area games on Friday night include Pleasant Valley (1-0) at Spring Garden (1-0), Sand Rock (0-1) at West End (0-1), and Saks (1-0) at Piedmont (1-0).
