Cherokee County Youth Soccer Camp Announced
CENTRE — Young athletes in Cherokee County will soon have the chance to sharpen their soccer skills at the upcoming Cherokee County Youth Soccer Camp, hosted by the Cherokee County High School boys’ and girls’ soccer teams.
The camp is open to children ages 4 through 12 and will take place at the Cherokee County Softball Complex behind Gadsden State Arena. Two sessions are scheduled:

Sunday, August 25, at 6 p.m. for ages 4–8 (150-minute session)

Tuesday, August 27, at 6 p.m. for ages 10–12 (180-minute session)
Cost is $20 per player, with each additional family member at $10. Instruction will be led by CCHS soccer players and coaches.
Camp goals include building fundamental soccer skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting, and defending, while also encouraging teamwork, communication, and a love for the game.
Participants should bring shin guards, cleats, and a water bottle. Signups are available through the Centre Parks & Recreation website or on-site the day of the camp.
