Interstate 59 Southbound Near Collinsville Closed
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is advising motorists of a lane closure on Interstate 59 in Dekalb County.
Due to a construction project that began around 7:30 a.m. Friday, August 15, the southbound lanes near the 205 mile-marker are closed for an undetermined amount of time.
Traffic is being detoured at the 205 mile-marker. Drivers are urged to use caution, follow detour signs, and expect delays. Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
