...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following
  counties, Blount, Cherokee and Etowah.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - As showers and thunderstorms continue to develop over similar
    areas across northeastern counties of Central Alabama, high
    rain rates may lead to localized flooding or flash flooding
    especially for urban areas or near rugged terrain in higher
    elevations.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
