Early Morning Fire In Alexis Community
Just after 2:00 AM Monday morning, Spring Creek, Ellisville, and McCord’s Crossroads Fire Departments were dispatched to the scene of single family dwelling on County Road 22 in the Alexis Community. Spring Creek Units arrived on the scene within 10 minutes of being dispatched. When they arrived, they found heavy flames coming from a corner of the structure.
With McCord’s and Ellisville Departments assisting with manpower and water, the three Departments got a quick knock down and brought the blaze under control with 30 minutes, according to Spring Creek Chief, Jamey Walker.
In addition to McCord’s and Ellisville Departments, Chief Walker extended Thanks to Atrium Floyd EMS, Cherokee County Sheriff Department, and Centre Police for their assistance.
