One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Leesburg late Sunday morning.
It happened just before noon at the intersection of U.S. Highway 411 and Alabama Highway 68, when a Mercedes SUV collided with a van. Leesburg Police Chief Hunter Brisendine says one vehicle failed to yield while turning left off Weiss Lake Boulevard onto Industrial Boulevard, causing the collision.
Leesburg Police and Fire Departments responded, along with Atrium Floyd EMS. The injured person was treated at the scene and released.
The crash remains under investigation.
