In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Kathy Mitchell, age 65 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of 4th degree theft of property and breaking and entering an automobile.

Jessica Phillips, age 36 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of non-support.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 95 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
