In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Emanual Kiser, age 48 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, certain persons forbidden to carry a firearm, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joseph Dingler, age 19 of Cedartown, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Wanda Chipman, age 53 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Gary Brown, age 35 of Pisgah, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Terry Dixon, age 46 of Centre, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of obstruction of government operations.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 91 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
