In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

James Eller, age 37 of Douglasville, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jody Hicks, age 36 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence harassment.

Joshua Kizzire, age 43 of Dora, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of obstruction of justice-false ID, two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.

Danny Reynolds, age 57 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge of driving under the influence.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 88 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
