Three Injured in Scottsboro Stabbing Incident; Investigation Ongoing

SCOTTSBORO — A late-night stabbing in Scottsboro sent three people to the hospital Monday, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities.

According to the Scottsboro Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of East Willow Street around 10 p.m. on July 14 following a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located three individuals who had sustained injuries. Police immediately rendered medical aid until the Scottsboro Fire Department and Highlands Ambulance Service arrived on the scene.

All three victims were transported to Highlands Medical Center for treatment. Scottsboro Police confirmed that one of the injured individuals was later transferred to Huntsville Hospital by ambulance. Another was airlifted from Highlands Medical Center via Air Evac to a medical facility for additional care.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or the nature of their injuries. No information regarding a possible suspect has been made public, and police say the incident remains under investigation.
