In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Clifford Sanders, age 61 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a revoked bond.

Edward Burton, age 27 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on two counts of 3rd degree domestic violence.

Edward Sexton, age 32 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department for failure to appear on previous charges of speeding and insurance violation.

Martha Coleman, age 72 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Carrie Adams, age 25 of Southside, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Nicholas Menard, age 36 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of harassment.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 88 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
