Mr. Michael “Mike” Alan McCrickard, age 62 of Gaylesville, passed away on June 26, 2025, in Forest, Mississippi.
A funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, June 29, at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jamie Maples and Rev. Michael Terrell officiating. Burial will follow in Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 2 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Roberta “Robbie” Compton McCrickard; Two daughters, Amber Gorham and Stephanie (B.T.) Dunn; Three step-daughters, Cindy Mitchell, Kristy (Glenn) Milam, Jennifer (Monty) Strength; Brother, John McCrickard; Sister, Melody “Lynn” Ayers; Three grandchildren; Four step-grandchildren.
A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Pallbearers are Stacey Bullard, Tyler Bullard, Tony Blalock, and Elijah Strength.
Honorary pallbearers include the members of Maples Trucking.
Mr. McCrickard was a native of Chattooga County, GA, and born to the late Jack and Barbara Teems McCrickard. He was a truck driver and had an infectious laugh that would bring joy to all around. Mike was a family man and loved all his fur babies.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mike’s family in care of the funeral home.
