In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jack Moore, age 22 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of 2nd degree theft of property and 2nd degree receiving stolen property.

Gracie Hunter, age 20 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Ethel Jeter, age 64 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 82 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
