Mr. Christopher Dewayne “D.J.” Chapman, age 27, of Cedar Bluff, AL, died Friday, June 6, 2025.
Mr. Chapman was born June 11, 1997, in Alabaster, AL, son of Dewayne Chapman and Debra Jean Sparman Cruz. He was employed with Northwest Georgia Paving.
Mr. Chapman was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lorene Dupree, Robert Mosteller, Debbie and Jerry Sparman.
Survivors include his wife, Alexis Sluder Chapman; parents, Dewayne and Stephanie Chapman; son, Tyson Chapman; daughter, LaVada Chapman; brothers, Tucker (Baylee) Terry, JaCameron Chapman, Joshua Chapman; sisters, Brooke Sparman and Aneetra Harris.
Funeral services for Mr. Chapman will be held at 2:00 P.M. (Central Time) Friday, June 13, 2025, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tucker Terry, JaCameron Chapman, Jordan McElroy, Kurtis McDaniel, D’Andre Autry, and Carson Keen.
Mr. Chapman will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon (Central Time) until the hour of service on Friday.
