Hubert Lynn Armstrong, age 84 of Centre passed away Sunday, June 08, 2025 at Gadsden Regional.
A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 in Hebron cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Eric Armstrong, Brennon Ferguson, Amy Ferguson, Cheltzey Clements, Nick Clements, Doug Allen, Eddie Cothran and Martina Diamond.
He is survived by his son, Eric Armstrong (Kristi Bartlett); daughter, Shelba (Tim) Holmes; sister, Barbara Jo Gowens; grandchildren, Amy (Brennon) Ferguson, Cheltzey (Nick) Clements; great grandchildren, Gracey Ferguson, Gauge Ferguson, Addalynn Clements, Reed Clements, Noah Clements, Lucas Clements, Willow Clements; sister-in-law, Patsy Armstrong; special nieces & nephews; Mark (Ginger) Armstrong, Angie (Ken) Keener, Tammy (Miguel) Esparza, Brenda, Kathy, Nancy and Wayne; special friends, Bobby Cochran, Danny (Joan) Cochran, Vickie (Talmadge ) Henry, the Stallings family and employees of Allen, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Linda Armstrong; brothers, Jackie Armstrong and Charles Amos Armstrong, sisters, Frances Haney and Maxine Garrett .
Mr. Armstrong was a lifelong native of Alabama and the son of the late William “Bill” and Gladys Bobo Armstrong.
