In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Justin Busby, age 34 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of interfering with an emergency call and domestic violence strangulation.

Kenneth Goodwin, age 58 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence harassment.

Dylan Atkins, age 25 of Trion, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Benjamin Weeks, age 49 of Summerville, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, 1st degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and criminal littering.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 104 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
