County Engineer, Evan Morgan, informed WEIS Radio News that Cherokee County Road 33, between both ends of County Road 168, has been deemed impassable due to the roadway being washed out.
For your safety, please use an alternate route until further notice. If you’re traveling south on County Rd 33 south of County Rd 168 you will need to use County Rd 14.
He said County Highway employees will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if needed.
Remember, if you find a flooded road, turn around, don’t drown.
