In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Ashley Walker, age 41, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of attempting to elude.

Amanda Godfrey, age 33 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge of contributing to truancy.

Morgen Zuber, age 29 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of possession of a controlled substance and revoked bond.

Summer Austin, age 47 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge of contributing to truancy.

Jacob Smith, age 39 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 107 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
