Two Accidents Reported Tuesday Afternoon in Cherokee County

Cherokee County, AL – First responders were kept busy Tuesday afternoon following two separate traffic accidents that occurred within minutes of each other along Highway 411.

The first incident was reported at approximately 4:33 PM near the Alabama-Georgia state line on Highway 411 North. According to emergency officials, the call came in as a single-vehicle accident involving two injured individuals. Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene—one from Redmond EMS in Cave Spring and another from Atrium Floyd EMS in Centre. One person was treated at the scene, while the second was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been released.

While crews were still responding to that accident, a second call came in at approximately 4:43 PM, just 10 minutes later. This wreck occurred on Highway 411 in Leesburg and involved two vehicles. Emergency personnel quickly responded, and one ambulance was dispatched to the scene. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported from the second crash.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved in either accident. Both incidents are under investigation.
