Police Chase Ends in Crash at Guntersville Chamber of Commerce

Guntersville- A police chase through Guntersville last night during severe weather conditions ended with a dramatic crash into the side of the Guntersville Chamber of Commerce building.

According to authorities, a woman fleeing from police was traveling the wrong way on Gunter Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle. The car veered off course and slammed into the side of the Chamber building.

No injuries have been reported at this time, but the extent of the structural damage to the building remains unclear. City officials are scheduled to meet today to assess the damage and determine the necessary repairs.
