In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Ronald Atkins, age 45 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Caleb Johnson, age 23 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance the three counts of probation revocation.

Jamison Burt, age 51 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of the violation of a protection order and 2nd degree aggravated stalking.

Heather Rosser, age 37 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on previous charges of burglary, 3rd degree burglary, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cortney Reed, age 33 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of 2nd degree burglary and 2nd degree theft of property.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 106 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
