Mr. James David Milton, age 77 of Centre, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Advent Health Redmond Hospital in Rome.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his Brother-in-law, David Whisenant; Nephews, David Whisenant, Jr., Jeff Whisenant; Nieces, Melissa Washburn, Cindy Briant; Several great nieces and nephews also survive.
James was born to the late David Milton and Faye Metcalf in Sioux City, Iowa. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. He later dedicated his hard work to the steel industry, which he retired from after 25 or more years of work.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Johnny Milton, Joyce Brown, and Jacqueline Whisenant.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any US Veteran’s Charity of their choice in Mr. Milton’s name.
