In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Gavynn Cunningham, age 18 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 2nd degree rape.

Patrick Parden, age 37 of Talladega, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 106 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
