Gadsden State’s Officer Mike Powell Named Officer of the Year by ALEAF

GADSDEN, AL — Gadsden State Community College is celebrating a major honor as Officer Mike Powell has been named Officer of the Year by the Alabama Law-Enforcement Appreciation Foundation (ALEAF). This distinguished award recognizes Powell’s exceptional dedication, professionalism, and commitment to public safety.

The award was presented at ALEAF’s annual event, which brought together law enforcement officers from across the state to honor individuals who go above and beyond in service to their communities. The ceremony was a high-caliber gathering, and Gadsden State representatives were in attendance to support and celebrate the achievement.
