In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Alex Poole, age 33 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of public intoxication.

Tameeka Smith, age 43 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department on a charge of 4th degree theft of property.

Christopher Hartline, age 40 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Jason Kitchens, age 48 of Gadsden, was arrested by the the Leesburg Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Heather Farlow, age 45 of Rainbow City, was arrested by Lee County Solid Waste on charges of two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Christopher Browning, age 38 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of public intoxication and obstructing justice using a false ID.

Christopher Bush, age 47 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Ashley Watson, age 35 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, as well as for failure to appear on previous charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 108 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
