CENTRE – Cherokee County Schools held a sendoff for the Lady Warrior soccer team as they traveled to Huntsville for the Class 4A Final Four.

The sendoff began at 8:50 a.m. at Cherokee County Elementary School, then continued to Centre Middle School and Cherokee County High School, proceeding down Main Street around 9:20 to 9:30 a.m.

The Lady Warriors face top-ranked St. John Paul II in the Class 4A state semifinals on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at John Hunt Park, part of the Huntsville Soccer Complex.
