Mr. Calvin Clifford Dorsett age 96 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Cherokee County Health and Rehab.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 04, 2025 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Perry Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Hosey officiating, burial will follow at Union Methodist Church on Co Rd 48 in the Blue Pond community, the family will receive friends from 1:00PM till the time of service Sunday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Bryan Dorsett, Kyle Gullatt, Gary Gullatt, Ryan Wade, James Dorsett, Jimmy Dale Hawkins, Greg Dorsett, and Dale Dotson. Honorary Pallbearers include, Randall Dorsett, Jerry Anderson, Jerry Givens, David Moses and Tommy Minnix.
Mr. Dorsett is survived by his wife; Lola Belle Dorsett, son; Chris (Pam) Dorsett, grandson; Bryan Dorsett, granddaughter; Sutton Dorsett.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Wesley & Emma Dorsett, brothers; JE Dorsett, Luke Dorsett & Cecil Dorsett, sisters; Willie Bell Hawkins & Pauline Edins.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Sand Rock Baptist Church in Mr. Dorsett’s memory.
