Missing Juvenile From Marshall County Located in Arizona

Albertville– Wednesday at approximately 0900 hours, MCSO Investigators obtained a warrant on the person of interest listed in the case involving the missing juvenile from Albertville for Interference with Custody (Felony). Also at this time, the Federal Bureau of Investigation was notified and agreed to assist on the case.
At approximately 0930 hours, MCSO received information that Navajo County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona had detained the person of interest, Raul Romero, on Marshall County’s active warrant. The missing juvenile was found to be with Mr. Romero and was unharmed.
Mr. Romero will be extradited back to Marshall County where he will be held on $100,000 cash bond. Additional charges are expected. The juvenile will also be transported back to Marshall County.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Marshall County District Attorney’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Navajo County Sheriff’s Office (Arizona), Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office (New Mexico) and tips provided by public to MCSO for their assistance in this case.
