In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Joseph Dial, age 23 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on previous charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and 2nd degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Bill Bentley, age 51 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of probation violation.

Aiden Mefford, age 20 of Anniston, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 2nd degree receiving stolen property.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 98 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
