GERALDINE – In the Class 3A, Area 13 softball tournament at Geraldine on Monday, the Collinsville Lady Panthers pounded Fyffe 18-2 to clinch a spot in the area championship game.

Lexii Burt went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, two runs and six RBIs to lead the Lady Panthers. Malee Barkley and Bella Wills both went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Barkley scored three runs and Wills scored twice.

Ella Coker and Carlee Davis both doubled and walked. Coker scored two runs and had a RBI. Davis scored a run and had a RBI.

Aubrey Reeves and Gabriella Whitmore both collected a hit, a walk and two runs. Karlee Middlebrooks walked twice, scored three runs and had a RBI. Jemma Smith drove in a pair of runs.

Smith also earned the win after working all three innings. She allowed two unearned runs on three hits.

The area championship game is tomorrow at 4 p.m. at Geraldine.
