The Weiss Lake Improvement Association, Renew Our Rivers and Alabama Power Shore Line Management are hosting Clean Up Around Weiss Lake this week. The kicked off the event Saturday from the Alabama Power Boat Ramp Area on the Highway 9 causeway between Centre and Cedar Bluff.

Area residents can stop by to pick up trash bags, gloves, and grabbers to assist them with their efforts. There are two dumpsters stationed at the site to accept trash throughout this week.

All area residents are encouraged to participate!! Working together we can help keep Weiss Lake Clean.
