Centre City Council Met For Discussion of City Business

The Centre City council met for their regularly scheduled council meeting.  After the previous council meeting minutes were approved the first order of business was to approve Cherokee Pines Country Club’s application to do business as Cherokee Pines Golf Club with a special retail license more than 30 days.  The application was approved

The council approved the purchase of a 2012 Chevy Silverado from DC Gas at the purchase price of $1,781.25. The next item on the agenda was to adopt a resolution to declare property that is titled to Terry Lee Mainly as a public nuisance. The resolution was adopted by the council.

The council approved the purchase of in car cameras for the police department at the purchase price of $1,494.74 and chose to waive the May 13 meeting and move it to May 12 for approval of accounts payable. There were no comments from the Mayor or Council other than to thank everyone for coming to the meeting. A motion was made to adjourn.
