Cedar Bluff Councilman Claims City is Out of Money

Cedar Bluff called a special meeting to discuss a recent fire inspection from the State Fire Marshal’s office. The discussion covered several issues that were cited in the inspector’s report.

The council was made aware on estimates on what it would cost for fire extinguishers to be purchased and put into the buildings noted in the fire marshal’s report. The mold found in one of the buildings was then discussed as far as cost for testing and removal. Council member Jack Bond had this to say.

WEIS radio news spoke with Mayor Tammy Crane and ask about the situation and she replied “We have made payroll every week”. We also spoke with the town clerk and asked if there was money in the bank to pay bills she replied yes. We will have more as this story develops.
