Cherokee County Health & Rehabilitation Center Hosts Dementia Education Event: “Getting Back to the Basics & Virtual Experience”
Centre, AL – [04/15/2025] – Cherokee County Health & Rehabilitation Center (CCHRC) is proud to announce an upcoming educational event, “Dementia: Getting Back to the Basics & Virtual Experience,” scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the Cherokee County Health & Rehabilitation Center Education Building.
This one-day program is open to caregivers in the community, including nurses, CNAs, family members, First-Responders, therapists, and anyone working in the care-giving field. The presentation designed to provide essential knowledge and practical strategies for healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community members who support individuals with dementia. The event offers 7 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Nursing Home Administrators, Alabama Assisted Living Administrators, Nurses, and Social Workers.

- CEU Registration Fee: $125 (Nursing Home Administrators, Alabama Assisted Living Administrators, & Nurses)
- CEU Registration Fee: $25 for Social Workers
- General Attendance Fee: $25 (CEUs not included)

- General Attendance Fee is required to attend (must register through Eventbrite) deadline by April 30th, 2025. Registration after April 30th, price will be $135 CEUs fee (Nursing Home Administrators, Alabama Assisted Living Administrators, & Nurses), $35 CEU fee for Social Workers, and $35 for attendee fee
